M.P.NEWS - Water supply problem will not arise in Chhola, Karond area: Shri Sarang
RAJNI SHARMA :- The Chhola, Karond area will not face water problem now. Work to lay approximately 5 k.m. long new pipeline is being started soon in the area. Minister of State for Cooperative, Bhopal Gas Tragedy, Relief and Rehabilitation (Independent Charge) Shri Vishwas Sarang informed about this at the beginning of work for laying new pipeline in Chhola area today.
Shri Sarang performed bhoomi poojan for laying new water pipeline to supply Narmada water in Satyagyan Nagar, Nagar Nigam Colony and Navjeevan Colony of Chhola area. He said that Chhola and Karond area will be identified as the developed area. Ten water tanks are being constructed to supply water in the area. Along with this, buildings of the Government hospital and college are also being constructed in Karond.
MoS Shri Sarang inspected ongoing development works at Prem Nagar Basti of Chhola area and deliberated with the citizens. He informed that drainage system at a cost of Rs. 150 crore is being constructed in the area. He was accompanied by local Corporators Smt. Sushma Bali, Shri Vijay Singh, Shri Radhakrishna Nayak, Shri Rambabu Bhargava, Shri Neeraj Pachouri, Officers of Municipal Corporation and citizens during the visit.
