M.P. - Green Ganesh Campaign
ROHIT SHARMA :- Environment Planning and Coordination Organisation (EPCO) is going to organize Green Ganesha Workshop at EPCO premises on August 24. Apart from giving information about the importance of making Ganesha statues of clay to the teachers, students and sculptors, they will also be imparted training to made clay statues. Executive Director, EPCO Shri Jitendra Singh will inaugurate the workshop at 11 am.
EPCO is not only providing training but also inspiring the public and students through its Green Ganesha campaign since several years to make clay statues of Ganesha. During Ganesh Utsav, immersion of P.O.P statues cause several ill-effects like water pollution, loss to aquatic system, reduction in water logging area in reservoir, health issues due to chemical-based colours. This year also, EPCO is imparting training of making clay Ganesha statues in 3 public places and 6 educational institutions of Bhopal.
