ROHIT SHARMA,INDIA, Pyongyang, July 16 (KCNA) -- The DPRK will grant an amnesty to those who had been convicted of the crimes against the country and people on the occasion of the 70th founding anniversary of the DPRK. The amnesty will take effect from Aug. 1. The DPRK Cabinet and relevant organs will take practical measures to help the released people settle down to normal working life. The Presidium of the Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK promulgated a decree in this regard on July 12. The decree said it is the intrinsic demand of Korean-style socialist system and the consistent principle of state activities to protect the independent and creative life of the popular masses and make selfless, devoted efforts for them by thoroughly applying the people-first principle, the most vivid expression of the Juche-oriented view on the people and people-centered philosophy.

ROHIT SHARMA :-  Chief Minister Jairam Thakur met Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari at New Delhi today and requested him to notify 25 road stretches of the state as National Highways and also urged for sanctioning developmental works for their up-gradation. ROHIT SHARMA :-  Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur, who is on a two-day tour to New Delhi for coordinating with various Ministries regarding various developmental projects, informed today that the government of India has approved Rs. 1131.87 crore projects for Himachal Pradesh. These include Rs. 708.87 crore for Water Conservation Project for department of Irrigation and Public Health and Rs. 423 crore Himachal Pradesh Integrated Mushroom Development project for department of Horticulture. Both the projects were approved today by department of Economic Affairs, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India. He said that State government had prepared the water conservation project for the state with the estimated cost of Rs. 4751.24 crore in order to double the farmer’s income through water construction initiatives. ROHIT SHARMA :-  सांख्यिकी एवं कार्यक्रम कार्यान्वयन मंत्रालय के केन्द्रीय सांख्यिकी कार्यालय (सीएसओ) ने देश के रोजगार परिदृश्य पर रिपोर्ट जारी की है जिसमें सितंबर, 2017 से लेकर मई, 2018 तक की अवधि को कवर किया गया है। यह कुछ विशेष आयामों में हुई प्रगति का आकलन करने के उद्देश्य से चुनिंदा सरकारी एजेंसियों के पास उपलब्ध प्रशासकीय अभिलेखों (रिकॉर्ड) पर आधारित है। यह रोजगार संबंधी सांख्यिकी की इस श्रृंखला में चौथा भाग है। मंत्रालय ने औपचारिक क्षेत्र में रोजगार संबंधी आंकड़ों की प्रथम विज्ञप्ति अप्रैल, 2018 में जारी की थी जिसमें सितंबर, 2017 से लेकर फरवरी, 2018 तक की अवधि को कवर किया गया था। इसमें उन सदस्यों की संख्या से संबंधित जानकारियों का उपयोग किया गया था जिन्होंने तीन प्रमुख योजनाओं यथा कर्मचारी भविष्य निधि (ईपीएफओ), कर्मचारी राज्य बीमा योजना (ईएसआईसी) और राष्ट्रीय पेंशन योजना (एनपीएस) के तहत लाभ उठाए हैं। इस तरह की दूसरी और तीसरी रिपोर्ट क्रमशः मई एवं जून, 2018 में जारी की गई थीं।

RAJNI SHARMA :-  भारतीय निर्वाचन आयोग को भारतीय संविधान के अनुच्छेद 324 से लेकर 329 के तहत कानून के अनुसार चुनावों के संचालन के लिए इनकी देख-रेख, निर्देश एवं नियंत्रण प्रदान करने की जिम्मेदारी सौंपी जाती है। इसमें किसी भी तरह की अटकलबाजी या बहस में पड़ने की गुंजाइश नहीं रहती है। वैसे तो समस्त आवश्यक ईवीएम की डिलीवरी 30 सितंबर, 2018 तक कर दी जाएगी, लेकिन वीवीपीएटी की डिलीवरी में देरी होती है क्योंकि निर्वाचन आयोग द्वारा ईवीएम पर गठित तकनीकी विशेषज्ञ समिति आरंभिक खेपों में तकनीकी स्थिरता से जुड़े मुद्दों का विश्लेषण करती है और तदनुसार डिजाइन में आवश्यक सुधारों को शामिल किया जाता है। इसके बावजूद आयोग की ओर से सभी उत्पादन इकाइयों के व्यक्तिगत दौरों सहित उच्चतम स्तर पर निरंतर निगरानी जारी रहने के परिणामस्वरूप सभी वीवीपीएटी की भी डिलीवरी नवंबर, 2018 के आखिर से पहले ही यानी चुनाव पूर्व तैयारियों के लिए आवश्यक समयसीमा के भीतर ही कर दी जाएगी। वर्ष 2019 में होने वाले लोकसभा चुनावों के लिए सभी मतदान केन्द्रों में शत-प्रतिशत आपूर्ति हेतु वीवीपीएटी की आवश्यकताओं की पूर्ति करने के उद्देश्य से...

NEW DELHI :-   Officers of CGST Delhi North Commissionerate have arrested one Director of a Company for evasion of Service Tax. The Company had collected more than Rs. 3 Crores as Service Tax from its clients but had not deposited the same with the Government Exchequer. The power to arrest is provided under Section 91 of the Finance Act 1994 for violating the provisions of Section 89 of the Finance Act 1994 read with Section 174 of CGST Act, 2017. He was produced in the Court of Hon’ble CMM, Patiala House Court and has been sent to Judicial Custody for 15 days. Further investigations are being conducted and the amount of Service Tax evaded is bound to increase.
