Jharkhand Govt. organized Exporter  Summit

during Jharkhand Expo in Delhi

Rohit Sharma,New Delhi :- It was a very good day for ‘Jharkhand Expo 2016’,an “Exporter summit” was organized by the Jharkhnad Govt. in which around 150 exporters of Handloom and Handicraft participated and the summit was addressed by D.I of Jharkhand govt.-Mr. K Ravi kumar and many exporter . It was a very well organized event in which exporters showed deep interest in the Jharcraft and Handlooms of Jharkhand,an after meeting ‘dinner’ was also hosted by department of Industry, Govt. of Jharkhand  for the invited exporters, Artisans  and  guests.

On  the occasion of  summit D.I, Jharkhand Govt. Mr. K Ravi kumar said “the main motto of this summit is to promote the work and talent of the local artisans of Unorganised groups of Jharkhand. Despite having  tremendous talent the artists are not getting a suitable platform to showcase their talent to the world, So our govt. took the initiative to give them a platform to show their art to the country and also to the world”. Mr. Ravi also added that the summit was a very successful event and we are looking forward to organize such type of events in upcoming years.

Exporters praised the work and talent of the artists of Jharkhand and also showed interest in exporting  the Handloom and Handicraft goods.They also enjoyed the ‘daily cultiural show’performed by the local artists of Jharkhand. “Janakpuri Dilli Haat is hosting Jharkhand expo 2016 by Govt. of Jharkhand from 21st -27th may. More than 40 stalls of Jharkhand artwork and cuisines are here to entice the visitors.People visiting here are also liking the ambience of this expo and they are also praising the art and talent of the local artists of Jharkhand.
